My Journey

Ordinary world:
Cassie was a quiet, not get in anybodies face, type of girl. At school she mostly stuck to her small group of girl friends. She had never had a real boyfriend and she wasn't interested in one. she just wanted to get through this summer and go to college.
The Call to Adventure:
One day Cassie's mom tells her that the entire family is moving to London, England. Cassie debates if she should move with them for the summer or stay in Utah by herself.
Refusal of the Call:
Cassie refuses to go to London with the family even though her mom really needs the support. She can't handle leaving everything she knows. And what would she even do in London? She has a job, friends and a life here.
Meeting the Mentor:
The day before the family plans to leave, Cassie is out with some of her friends, talking about not going to London. Her best friend Belle convinces her to go. Telling her she needs to experience more of the world before she goes to college.
Crossing the Threshold:
Cassie decides to come with her family to London. She gets on the plane with them to experience this adventure before returning to college in Utah.
Tests, Allies, Enemies:
Cassie gets a job in London at her aunt's boutique. She makes friends with the other workers, comes across a couple of mean girls and falls in love with a boy she meets on a night out with her new friends. Cassie is starting to feel at home in London.
Approach to the Inmost Cave:
Cassie knows that her time here with Jake is very limited. She is struggling with what she should do. She doesn't know how to tell him that she will be leaving at the end of the summer instead of staying there with her family as he believes.
The Ordeal:
Jake tells Cassie he is in love with her. Cassie knows she must tell him that she can't stay and she doesn't know how she can make this work. They get in a huge fight and Cassie thinks it is over.
Reward:
Cassie and Jake make up. They both realize that they would rather have a long-distance relationship than have nothing at all.
The Road Back:
Cassie's time in London is just about up. In fact she is scheduled to leave tomorrow. She considers dropping out of college and staying a thousand times, but realizes she has no choice but to go back.
The Resurrection:
Jake takes Cassie to the airport. Cassie cries the entire way home. She doesn't know how she can make this work. She feels utterly hopeless. Cassie goes back home to Utah to start school but she wants to go back more than anything.
Return with the Elixir:
Then one day Cassie gets a text from Jake. It says "come outside". Cassie is confused but does as the text instructs. She finds Jake standing outside! He has decided to transfer to Utah so he could be with Cassie. They lived happily ever after, the end.
